ASSOCIATION "CLEAN TECHNOLOGIES FOR CIRCULAR ECONOMY" (Clean and Circle)
The Association participates as a partner in the Competence Center "Clean Technologies for a Sustainable Environment – Water, Waste, Energy for Circular Economy", funded under the "Scientific Research, Innovation and Digitalization for Intelligent Transformation" Program 2021-2027.
Announces a competition for Director of the Association "Clean Technologies for Circular Economy" ( Clean and Circle )
Requirements are as follows:
1. Minimum requirements for holding the position:
1.1. Minimum level of completed education: Master’s degree.
1.2. Obtained academic degree, academic title, and/or additional qualifications and certifications are an advantage.
1.3. Minimum professional experience: 15 years.
2. The relationship between the Director and the Association is governed by an employment contract.
Upon appointment, the basic monthly salary is according to the salary set in the Competence Center project: "Clean Technologies for a Sustainable Environment – Water, Waste, Energy for Circular Economy", funded by the "Scientific Research, Innovation and Digitalization for Intelligent Transformation" Program, co-financed by the European Union through the European Structural and Investment Funds, including social security contributions paid by the employee and the employer.
3. Candidates should possess skills and abilities in:
- Strategic competence – vision for future development of the organization considering internal and external factors;
- Leadership competence – motivating and developing staff to achieve significant individual and organizational goals;
- Management competence – planning, organizing, coordinating, and controlling the unit's activities to ensure achievement of individual and organizational goals;
- Result orientation – achieving high results in accordance with set objectives and requirements;
- Negotiation and persuasion skills – effectively presenting positions and arguments to achieve consensus among different parties;
- Teamwork – managing and participating in teams working collaboratively towards a common goal;
- Client focus (internal/external) – performing activities in accordance with the needs, interests, and expectations of clients/users of services or activities.
- Brief job description:
- Leads administrative, legal, and financial management of the Association to ensure lawful execution of its functions.
- Represents the Association and manages its activities according to the statutes, internal regulations, and decisions of the Management Board.
- Organizes the development of scientific and research projects;
- Organizes the development and market implementation of business plans, projects, programs, strategies, consultancy, and services for managing economic entities within the Association's objectives;
- Organizes technology transfer and knowledge commercialization created by the Association and other partners in the Competence Center;
- Organizes and conducts exhibitions;
- Organizes leasing of research infrastructure acquired by the Association;
- Ensures proper management, use, and protection of movable property;
- Prepares tender documentation for public procurement procedures, plans, reports, and other documents according to the Public Procurement Act, including contracts and agreements; oversees compliance with legislation during procedures.
- Manages administrative document handling, including incoming/outgoing correspondence and internal mail, archiving, and record keeping.
- Prepares responses to complaints, suggestions, and signals from individuals and legal entities regarding administrative and operational activities.
4. Competition procedure:
4.1. Submission of scanned documents by email.
4.2. Interview with candidates, including presentation of the concept described below.
4.3. Presentation of a Development Concept for the Association "Clean Technologies for Circular Economy" as a structure funded and aimed at sustainability under EU infrastructure funds, OP NOIR, and PNIIDIT; vision for clean technology transfer in the areas of water and waste; opportunities to apply for projects related to scientific and applied implementation of ecological technologies, particularly in water and waste sectors.
5. Documents to be submitted by candidates:
5.1. Application letter – free text;
5.2. Declaration of being an adult citizen of Bulgaria, an EU member state, another EEA country, or Switzerland, not under legal incapacity, not convicted of intentional crimes, and not deprived of the right to hold the position – free text;
5.3. Copies of documents verifying educational and professional qualifications and certifications;
5.4. Copies of documents verifying professional experience;
5.5. Other documents relevant to the position requirements.
