A working meeting was held at the building of the Center of Competence "Clean Technologies for Sustainable Environment – Water, Waste, Energy for a Circular Economy" (Clean&Circle). The meeting brought together project partners, representatives from the Lead Partner’s administration – Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", and key experts from the Intermediate Body of the Research, Innovation and Digitalization Program for Smart Transformation (RIDPST).

The meeting focused on the current organizational and administrative challenges related to the launch of Phase 2 of the project implementation. Participants discussed in detail important topics such as the possibilities for hiring new project staff, the specifics of contract award procedures, and the reporting of performance indicators that will be used to track progress toward the Result Parameter outlined in the program framework.

A special emphasis was placed on the role of the newly established non-profit association "Clean&Circle," which unites the efforts of the scientific community and aims to ensure the long-term sustainability of the results achieved. The experts from the Intermediate Body – Galia Dudinska-Atanasova, Mariana Bratanova, Simeon Stoyanov, and Dinko Draganov – provided thorough answers to questions from the partners, offering concrete guidance and clarification on procedural, financial, and reporting issues.

The meeting proceeded in a constructive spirit and highlighted the importance of coordination and active communication among all institutions involved in the project. The agreements reached during the discussion set the stage for efficient planning of the next steps and successful achievement of the goals outlined in Phase 2.
