On November 29, 2022, in the village of Stara Zagora Mineral Baths, a meeting was held between the Centers of Competence and Centers of Excellence with the regional business community under the OPERATIONAL PROGRAM “SCIENCE AND EDUCATION FOR SMART GROWTH” (OP SESG) 2014–2020. The meeting presented general information about the centers funded under OP SESG 2014–2020 and opportunities for cooperation with businesses and between the established infrastructures during the 2021–2027 programming period.

The attending representatives of business organizations were divided according to their interests into four sessions, corresponding to the four priorities of the program. From the Center of Competence Clean&Circle, the project coordinator – Prof. Yana Topalova, DSc, and the scientific manager of the project, Assoc. Prof. Evgeniya Benova, PhD, took part in the meeting.

Professor Topalova presented the innovative and applied potential of Clean&Circle, as well as the opportunities for the Center to act as a partner and executor of projects and tasks implemented together with and for the business sector.
