On June 29, 2020, the guest in the studio of the show “Summer with BNT” was Prof. Yana Topalova, coordinator of the Center of Competence "Clean&Circle". 

The conversation touched upon topics such as the quality of the water we drink and how it is determined. Which water is clean? Which water is drinkable and good for our bodies?

Regarding the scientific capacity of the Center of Competence, Prof. Topalova shared that 80 scientists are involved, working holistically in the fields of water, energy, and waste management through the development of clean technologies, with the participation of young specialists. With this, the Center of Competence will become a European scientific hub, whose results will reach a wide audience through information campaigns and public projects.

And in conclusion, the message that Prof. Yana Topalova shared off-air, on the day of the 120th anniversary of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s birth, was:

"Water! You have neither taste, nor color, nor smell!
Man cannot describe you, he only experiences you without understanding you.
You are not a necessity for life, you are… life itself!"
